The hotel is located quite close to the city centre, easily accessible by bus. There is a supermarket and shopping centres nearby. When we checked into the room, it turned out that there were problems with the electricity in the room, as the heating system was being repaired at that time. The receptionist tried her best to fix the problem, but we had checked in on Sunday, so there were no electricians in the hotel. We were offered to move to another room, which we did. The hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Our room had a kettle, tea and coffee. The beds, bed linen and towels are of good quality and provided us with comfortable rest. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. I recommend the hotel for short and long stays.

The lady that we met at check in was fantastic. I phoned the hotel a few days earlier as one person wanted an accessible room, the lady on the phone was very helpful. The person that used the accessible room was delighted with the room and considered it was a fantastic room. Hotel was close to Aldi, and some petrol stations. I read a few reviews mentioning no breakfasts were available. It did not bother us, as we were aware of that, and the staff had mentioned it to us. Aldi is next door (so you can plan great breakfasts).

I loved the staff reception, there was a very gentle and very warm welcoming lady called Nathaly in the reception when clocking out, and she was so warming and with a big smile that literally made my day, I have been travelling for several places around Limerick and have found no other hotel service like that one. The room was in great conditions, the only thing I would say was the kettle that would be turning off automatically, but with the customer service at the reception I will give a 5 star.

I love ollies character and charm at the front desk , for a young man of his age he really fulfills customes every needs with a smile and goes and beyond there expectations. He is a true treasure to hospitality, again emphasise on his age , the Traveloge limerick are very lucky to have him and I'm sure he will go many places but his character will follow. I wish him the best in his current job but I know for sure his future endeavours will be marvellous. Thanks ollie x

The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was very comfortable and the toilet facilities were good (except that the floor felt sticky!) Your receptionist couldn't have been more helpful with the advice she gave to my wife concerning her mobile 'phone which was stolen at reception in a different hotel, yesterday. As a result, we will have no hesitation in staying at the Travelodge, Castletroy in future.
